George R. Kovach, age 88, of Chicago Heights, IL passed away on April 12, 2022. George was born on August 13, 1933 to George and Julia (Farkas) in Chicago. George is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Linda, daughter Michelle, and brother John Kovach (Carol), along with his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
George served in the Army as a medic overseas in Germany. After serving in the military he returned to Chicago. George worked in construction and started a job as a machinist at Nagle Pumps where he retired from in 1998.
George was a devoted family man who loved taking care of his house and yard while taking on many work projects. Even at 88, nothing deterred him from getting the job done.
George loved spending time with his family more than anything, and also loved having large parties while always being life of the party. Everyone remembers his smile and laugh.
George will be missed by many who loved him dearly.
