Giovanna "Joan" Serritella

Giovanna “Joan” Serritella (née Severi), entered into eternal peace early January 18, 2017. Joan was born on December 2, 1931, daughter of Ernestine and Peter Roy Severi. Joan lived in the Chicago area for her entire life. Joan married the love of her life, William “Bill” Serritella, in 1953 and together they raised four children. Joan was a compassionate soul, with a generous heart and an infectious laugh. She was kind and charismatic, with an innate ability to form connections with others. Joan was a glamour girl with a passion for the “finer” things in life. She surrounded herself with loving family and friends. Joan leaves behind loving memories, for her children, Mark (Angie) Serritella, Tina Markarian, Bill (Julie) Serritella, Camille (Blair) Haltom, grandchildren, Melissa (Daric), Jessica (Joe), Bill (Christina), Justin (Heidi), Lindsey, Emily, Jerry, Shelby, Dean, Jennifer (Brian), Christine (Anthony), Blair Jr., and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
