Dr. Adamek graduated from Portage Park elementary School and Schurz High School with highest honors and from Northwester University with a BS, MS, and PhD. Her research work began in Evanston, Illinois and let her to Cincinnati, Ohio where she lived for many years.
She is a Past Honored Queen of Bethel #32 of Job's Daughters and a member of the Betsy Ross Chapter #834 of the Order of the Easter Star.
Dr. Adamek spoke fluent German and her intellectual curiosity was limitless. She was extremely generous and would share whatever she had with others.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the graveside (Section 30, Lot 389, Grave 3) at Bohemian National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
