Harriet B. Kruczek

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harriet B. Kruczek, who peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on August 23, 2024 at the age of 103 and 8 months. Harriet is preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Kruczek, parents Zofia and Jozef Kondrat and brother Edward Kondrat. She is survived by her devoted/caring children Christine Kruczek, Suzanne (Kenneth) Fantaro and Thomas Kruczek. Her canine companions were dear to her.

She worked for many years for Sears, Roebuck and Co.

Harriet was proud of her Polish ancestry. She enjoyed listening to polka music and would kick up her heels and polka dance. Would gladly pull out her harmonica and play a few tunes. A skilled and passionate cook, Harriet's culinary talents were celebrated by all who had the pleasure of enjoying her meals. She was an avid Pekingese dog lover. Harriet enjoyed to travel in the U.S and Europe.

Harriet leaves a tapestry of beautiful memories and an example of love, caregiving and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Rest peacefully, as your spirit lives on in the love you shared and the lives, you touched. She will be missed dearly.

Chapel Prayers on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 12:00 PM at St Helen Catholic Church, 2315 W Augusta Blvd, Chicago, IL 60622. Following an Interment at St. Adalbert, Niles, IL.
