Helena Baranek, age 99, passed on July 24, 2026. Loving wife of Roman Baranek. Cherished sister-in-law to Emilia, and aunt to Elzunia and Basia. She is preceded in death by her husband Roman, her parents Jozef and Antonina, and her four siblings. She leaves behind many other nieces and nephews.
The family extends a special thank you to her caregivers for their kindness and support.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646, on August 4, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will take place at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016, on August 4, 2026, from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm.
