With loving hearts, we announce that Henryk Jan Kurzac, 67, embraced eternal peace on November 3rd, 2024. Henryk began his remarkable journey on March 16th, 1957, in Wielbark, Poland, where he proudly served his homeland in the Polish Army for two years before beginning his American dream.
For 42 beautiful years, Henryk shared an extraordinary love story with his beloved Barbara, creating a legacy of devotion that touched everyone around them. As a father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend, Henryk filled countless lives with joy and warmth. His passion for life shone through in every fishing trip, every excited shout of "Bingo!", and especially during cherished card games with his cousins. His deep faith and leadership guided many souls as he led the Polish Pilgrimage from Chicago to Merrillville, Indiana.
Henryk's humble spirit and boundless kindness touched everyone he met. His infectious laugh and radiant smile could brighten any room, while his generous heart knew no bounds. He poured his love into his family, creating precious memories that will forever live in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends.
Henryk leaves behind a beautiful family who will carry his legacy forward: his treasured wife Barbara of 42 years; his loving children Jaroslaw, Rafal, and Ewelina Kurzac; his wonderful daughter-in-law Erika Kurzac; his precious grandsons Jackson and Rowan Kurzac; and his dear siblings Anna Oko, Ireneusz Kurzac, Teresa Madej, and Zofia Kaminska.
