Jaime Malazo Alban Sr.
March 2, 1937 – February 4, 2023

Jaime Malazo Alban, Sr. 85 of Skokie, Illinois passed away on February 4, 2023. He was born on March 2, 1937 in the Philippines to Fructuoso Alban and Nieves Caoagas.
Jaime loved spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. He was a member of the Filipino American Council of Greater Chicago, Chicago (FACC), the Diamond Lions Club, and Chicago Order of the Knights of Rizal. If he wasn’t spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, he was at the Rizal Center planning fund raisers for various causes or just spending time with many of his long time friends.
He loved to dance, go on long drives, travel and going out to eat. Jaime worked as an accountant / controller for thirty five years in the meat packing industry starting his career at Swift Eckridge, then Monfort which later became Conagra.
Jaime is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Marina ( Miran) Alban; his three loving children Jina (Nathan) Canson, Divina (Liel) Alban, and Jaime (Christine McWard) Alban; he was the loving Lolo to Selena, Kayley, Cameron, Brendan, Sophia, and Samuel; and a brother and uncle to many loving brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10 from 4-8 pm at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 11 at St. Padre Pio Parish, 5600 North Franklin Avenue, Chicago, IL 60659. Burial will follow the Mass at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 North Ravenswood Avenue, Chicago, IL 60660
