Jane is in our hearts and memories. My favorite picture with Sandoval family is from the New Year Eve Celebration. It is in our family collection. Jane is the most kind, honest and open person I’ve met. I’m so grateful!
My daughter loved play with Marisa and they were best friends since kindergarten.

Since we were 15, Jane had been by my side. She would be the "ying" and I, the "yang". I remember our high school crazy "house" parties, learning how to smoke cigarettes, sneaking out of the house to drive down Lake Shore drive to go Rizal ; getting in trouble almost all the time! From sharing our first boyfriend moments, and college experience, Jane would be my "escape". We had so much fun!
My Maid of Honor to my wedding, Godmother to my son Kyle, Jane always showed her love, support, encouragement throughout my life. She used to say, "Jenn, you've done so well and you've got such great kids!". When Jane and Eric got married, she was so happy, and having Marissa and Zoe completed her life. She finally had her family! When we would meet for our occasional dinner get togethers, loved catching up and hearing how much she loves her family. Jane was a wonderful mother and loving wife!

Thank you for always being there for me Jane and I know we will see each other again.

I love you Jane and I will miss you, my best friend forever.

I met Jane through one of my friends, Emmy. Emmy would bring her along whenever I had get togethers. We always had tons of crazy laughs. But I really got to know Jane well when her and a few friends: Emmy, Javier, Karen, and Julianne, came to visit me in Tahoe in 2008. It was a vacation packed full of activities, we skied, snowmobiled, snow shoed, took a boat cruise around Lake Tahoe, made pizza, did some yoga and received a massage from Javi at night. Our friendship grew stronger as we both struggled with conception and went through IVF at the same time. We communicated frequently about our struggles and compared the many treatments we went through. Whenever I visited Chicago, Jane was always the first person I contacted to make plans to hang out. She was such a fun mom and she knew every fun place for kids to hang out. Jane had a membership for every museum, zoo, waterpark and play zone area. Our kids have been playing together since they were babies. I will continue with my tradition of contacting Jane’s family when I come to Chicago to make sure that Carmen hangs out with Marisa and Zoe.

I have many fond memories of practicing Kundalini with Jane. But my favorite memory with Jane is driving down Lakeshore Drive with Jane and Karen and singing Indigo Girls songs at the top of our lungs! Jane was a kind soul and wi be missed by many. RIP 💕💔💕

Jane was a kind, funny and considerate woman. I am so sorry for your and our loss. She thought of others and was able to speak her mind, yes there was a time or two she spoke her mind to me, hahahaha but honestly I truly did appreciate it . My prayers go out for you because I know she is already with the angels.. God bless.

Where would I start? Since I met Jane at yoga in 2002 there have so many... Movies, dinners, Kundalini yoga, weekends away...She has been such a good friend especially since I left Chicago, during the last 5 years. And during the most challenging of her whole life. Without judgment and like a plant that just keeps growing and is always there.. And still is. We will meet again. A memory that still makes me laugh is when I stayed with her 2 years ago and went to a wedding downtown at the Drake. Very fancy. She came in with me & joked that everyone would think she was one of the cleaning staff. We chatted in the car the whole time & looked at the photos afterwards of this fancy wedding. Then she drove me to the Drake but we could not get close because of the Thanksgiving Parade. She drive like a taxi driver. Amazing. I finally changed out of my heels into boots (after she had to drop me off at Walgreens to replace torn hose & put them on the car to hoots of laughter) and then she watched me running the rest of the way through the loop in my fancy outfit with my gift bag banging against my leg against the wind. And then she picked me up later and we just kept laughing. That was Jane. Funny, kind, and accepting. I would love to see your reception in Heaven Jane. But I am sure you will be there when we all cross over. Always a true friend.

Her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love will keep Jane forever in our hearts and memories. So many memories of crazy fun times, "wiggin out" party", tamale parties, and so many adventures, like our very first "Bike the Drive" so many years ago. Jane lived with an open hand, an open heart, and genuine curiosity and love of life.
God's peace be with you Eric, Marisa, Zoe and the rest of Jane's family as you travel this sad road.

Know you are loved,
Olga
