Janis Marie Caruso, age 69, was born in Chicago on January 4, 1950, and passed peacefully on August 25, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Janis was the beloved wife of Michael P. Caruso for 51 years; loving mother of Nicole M. (Michael) Criel, and Michelle J. Caruso; adoring grandmother of Patrick J. Criel; caring sister of John R. (Nancy) Prangl; dear daughter of John J. & Pearl N. Prangl; unforgettable aunt; caring cousin; fond friend; honorary mom and grandma of many. She is free from all her suffering. Janis is now dancing again and reunited with all of her loved ones who have passed before her.
