Jeffrey studied finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Loyola University. He began his career as a clerk in the S&P 500 at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, eventually moving into a broker role in retail futures. Most recently, he worked at RJO'Brien Futures, managing his own clients. He regarded his clients and colleagues as friends, maintaining close relationships with them by often reaching out with messages or gifts to show he cared.
Jeff was an excellent chef, who loved preparing meals for family and friends. He enjoyed planning tailgates for Bears games, often spending a whole day in preparation. As a season ticket holder, he cherished the family tradition of attending games with his father and brother, and was proud to continue this tradition with his nephew, Mark, and son, Spencer. He fondly remembered the family cabin in Shawano, Wisconsin, and loved sharing stories of family times spent there. Jeff also enjoyed planning trips with Spencer, often going fishing or traveling to places like Mexico, Florida, and Arkansas. He was creative, making Spencer's Halloween costumes and Christmas cards, and always thinking of fun activities to do together, whether it was watching a funny movie, playing a game, or cooking a meal.
Jeffrey will be best remembered for his sense of humor, often cracking jokes or quoting movies, his love for his family and friends, his generous spirit, and his dedication to caring for those he loved.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Spencer, his mother Margaret, his niece Danielle, his nephew Mark, and his great-nephews Nico and Max.
