Less than one year ago, my family gathered to celebrate the life and journey HOME for my Dad. Today we gather to celebrate my sister Jessica Ann Bach, as she returns HOME to be with Dad and our Heavenly Father.
My little sister Jessica was full of LOVE- she loved her daughter Isabella, her son baby James, James' father Jason, my mother, my father, my brother, Isabella's father Joel, and our extended family and friends who touched her life with joy.
Jess was extremely talented, artistic, and bright. She was a great athlete, hard-working and meticulously focused when she got into a project. She was beautiful and passionate and my heart breaks because the light that was behind her eyes has gone from this world.
In my heart, I know that when God called her HOME, she saw a warm light that was bright and full of peace and joy. She felt God's love lift her up. She saw Dad smiling and reaching out to her. He opened his arms to her and said 'Jessi, come stay with me.' The one place Jessica always longed to be. I know that her faith in our Lord has brought her HOME.
Although Jessica's journey on the earth was not as long or as peaceful as we wanted it to be, during her time here she was blessed with two healthy, beautiful children in Isabella Rose and James Ray. Her light will live on through them. Her children will know how much she loved them and how much she wanted the best life possible for both of them.
No one was prepared for this tragedy and it is difficult to understand how life works sometimes. I take solace in knowing that Jessica has found the peace she searched for on this world in heaven. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever. We will all be proud of her accomplishments forever and will never forget how wonderful a person she was. God Bless You Now and Always as you and Dad walk with us all our days on this world until we are all reunited one day in the HOME OF OUR LORD.
May God Bless Jessica Ann and give her comfort. We LOVE YOU.
The moment that you left me,
my heart was split in two,
one side was filled with memories,
the other side died with you.
I often lay awake at night
when the world is fast asleep,
and take a walk down memory lane
with tears upon my cheek.
Remembering you is easy,
I do it everyday;
but missing you is heartache
that never goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart
and there you will remain;
you see, life has gone on without you,
but will never be the same.
