Jo Ann, I just wrote a couple of words as I am thinking of you especially today. I tried to find a way to edit and can't seem to see that.  Just wanting to say I know I misspelled your name and want to say I am sorry.  To your siblings who I know miss you like crazy.  I am thinking of all of you, especially today.

Joanne, it seems like yesterday you were laughing at my dining room table or we were out at a restaurant celebrating your birthday or passing our your garden till to the picnic attendees and so many more memorable times.  You are so missed and for so many reasons.  I know Heaven is better that you are there and I am sure they welcomed your famous Margarita's and Bloody Mary's.  Some thing you never forget.  Those two drinks were your signature cocktails and having them made at the hands of anyone else does not compare.   Yet I still order them on occasion and raise a glass to you and your too short life.  Missing you cousin! Love you and see you soon.

So sorry to hear of Jo Ann’s sudden passing. I remember when I first met her around 74/75 while working the McDonalds, where I was Security and she was a counter girl. Remember her at our wedding. Remember her when she first came on he job and needed an A/C for her apartment. Gave her my old one. Her beauty and bubbly personality infected us all. I will miss our connection on FB as well as her pics...Rest well Guardian...and I will always remember her shouting...”You Want Fries With That?”...💙💙

Heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the Staniec Family. JoAnn was fun to be around. As a kid, I wanted to sit and listen to her stories.  My dad, Andy, Jo Ann’s cousin, adored and loved to talk with JoAnn. Through the years, and just recently, their conversations were filled with laughter. Anyone within ear shot of their conversation  would find themselves laughing along with them.  I am comforted to know that JoAnn is with my dad sharing more stories and belly laughter.

I was so saddened to hear of Jo’s passing.  I still remember our chats about the old neighborhood, the Cubs and Polish cooking.  She was such a pleasurable and kind person.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

I remember when Jo arrived at 18. She never wavered in her desire to be the Police. I will always have fond memories and her great smile.

Worked same watch with Jo Ann for numerous years. A real sweetheart.  Always happy and  full of fun.  We’ll miss you my friend.

I was shocked to hear of Joanne's untimely passing.  We started our careers together at the Academy, and were good friends.  I never expected this and feel a devastating emptiness.

May Joanne rest in peace secure in the knowledge that she made the difference with many people who appreciated her and will miss her intensely.

Like so many who worked with Jo Ann in 018 I am deeply saddened by her passing.  Her radiant smile, sense of humor, and genuine compassion will be sadly  missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family, loved ones, and friends.  May God hold you close.

I'm numb, sad and grateful for knowing and working with this beautiful soul in 018. She passed the baton to me on the desk and always had me laughing about the day she had and what to look forward to or who to look out for.  Hahaha. Family......you have my condolences and prayers of heart healing. She was loved! Rest Blue sister.

I was her police dispatcher for years  she was a great officer and friend.  We shared many laughs on the computer and radio. God bless her family
