Joanne Rogowski

She worked for The Paddington corporation in Itasca and then was administrative assistant at Baird & Warner real estate agency in Park Ridge before she retired in 2008.

She was an active member of the Park Ridge Garden Club and the Mystical Rose Guild. At Wright Junior College, she was proud to be part of the Alpha Beta Mu Sorority and went on to graduate with an associate’s degree. She was a graduate of Austin High School, where she also served on the board for the Girls Athletic Association, the College Club, and the Senior Guard.**

She enjoyed gardening, swimming, and participating in church activities. Some of her favorite pastimes

included traveling, being with her grandchildren, spending summers at Turner Camp, and visiting the

Pickwick. She also cherished sharing tea and conversation with her friends.

Joanne had a gift for making everyone feel warm and welcomed, often with a smile or a quick-witted comment that could spark laughter in any room. But above all else, her children and grandchildren were her everything, the center of her world and the greatest joy of her life.

Joanne is lovingly remembered by her three children, Kristine Rogowski, Jennifer Van Blake, and Joseph and Diana (nee Lopez) Rogowski; six grandchildren, Katelyn Liptrot, Matthew and Alicia (nee Gauden) Liptrot, Joseph Van Blake, Michael Van Blake, Liliana Rogowski and Julian Rogowski; as well as one great-grandchild, Aaron Liptrot. She was preceded in death by her her husband, Norman Rogowski, her parents, Paul and Beatrice (nee DeRoin) Rini, and infant daughters Beth and Michele Rogowski.

A memorial mass for Joanne will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 at 12:30 PM at St Paul of the Cross Church, 320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge, IL 60068. Following the mass a graveside service will be at St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714.
