John S. Ciszek, retired Engineer C.F.D., U.S.M.C. Veteran Korean War, age 85, passed away peacefully April 6, 2016. Beloved husband of 62 years of Ginny, nee Sobiek. Loving father of Mary (Joe E.P.F.D. ret.) Drozd, John CFD (Carla), Lisa (Raymond IV) Prince and the late Judy Yates. Proud grandfather of Melissa (Travis) Schwark, Joey, Michael, Melanie, Raymond V., David, Andrew and Jeffrey. Great-grandfather of Brennan and Kylie. Preceded in death by his siblings Constant, Walter, Lawrence, Edward and Irene. Survived by his siblings Alice (late Hank) Jurek, Eugene and Frank (Adriane). Beloved uncle to many and a dear friend of Jim Mindak. He was also a proud member of the Brotherhood of the Barrel. Visitation Sunday from 3 – 8 pm at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave. Lying in state Monday from 10:00 am until time of Mass 11:00 am at St. Viator Church. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
