Died at the age of 82. Born February 4, 1945. Beloved husband to his loving wife and best friend, Carol (Alkovich) of 59 years. Loving father to his dearest daughter Carolyn Marie Kovach. Loving grandfather to Kayden John Kerwin. Lifelong employee of The First National Bank of Chicago and of its successor banks First Chicago NBD, Bank One and JPMorgan. Retired as a Vice President in 2008 with 46 years. Member of the American Legion, and 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus. Served in the US Army Strategic Communication Command during the Vietnam War (1965-1967). Son of the late George and Julia (Farkas) Kovach. Brother of the late George (Linda) Kovach, late Robert (Barbara) Kovach, late Arlene (William) Solely, late Pasty Rodighier and late Judith Johnson. Brother in Law of George Alkovich & Gail Alkovich. Loving uncle of many nieces & nephews.
