Jojo Ventura Liban, 83, passed away on July 9, 2026. Born on December 15, 1942, in Tuguegarao, Philippines, Jojo was a man whose life was defined by hard work, quiet devotion, unwavering loyalty, and a deep love for the people around him.
Jojo is survived by his devoted wife, Lucena; his son, Jeremy (Claudia Camarena); his daughter, Joena (Charlie Chun) and his grandson, Rivington.
A visitation will be held at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will then be held at St Francis Xavier Church (Our Lady Of Mercy Parish), 3033 N Francisco Ave, Chicago, IL 60618, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 11:00 am.
