It is with deep love that we remember a man who lived life fully and passionately. A true sports lover of baseball and football, especially his White Sox and Bears. Football season meant no matter who was playing it was on tv, Saturday's College games and Sundays NFL.Being able to see the 85 Bears win the superbowl and the 2005 White Sox win the World Series was one of his greatest joys. He loved cooking and sharing meals, always bringing friends and family together with his amazing meals. Especially at Christmas time with his once a year dish of pork meat burritos/tacos which we all loved and will miss. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. This Old House with Bob Villa put him on track to do all home repairs himself. He would go to the library and check out books and learn how to do whatever project was on his list. Traveling the country was also a great passion of his. He drove his family everywhere, camping and fishing along the way. Once he retired he and Deb relished in their travels down to Florida enjoying their alone time without the kids and grandkids. Music was a constant in his life, especially The Beatles. Above all, he loved his family dearly. He will be remembered for his love of life, his passions, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
