Johnny and Family,

Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I have memories of spending many sleepless nights playing and singing around with you and my sister Nora when we were young and we would go visit. It has been a long time.....but our family always remembers yours.

Our fathers were great friends/compadres and from him, my mom and siblings, I send our most sincere condolences, prayers and hugs.

May your dad rest in peace and his memory forever live in the hearts of his loved ones.

Please contact me. My mom would like to get in touch with your mom.

Dad,

One of the most important things you ever taught me, was the value of hard work and perseverance. You taught me to aspire to greatness. You demanded excellence and never settled for anything less. Thank you for those life-lessons that will stay with me forever. You faced the challenges of your illness with incredible courage and optimism. I never heard you utter a complaint or question why. You fought the good fight and won in the end. You are now at peace & rejoicing in the presence of the father.

“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” -1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

I will always remember you. You were not just my brother-in-law, you were my brother. I can remember your smile, laugh, and love for music as far back as my memory can go. You were always so brave, perseverant, enthusiastic, and responsible to your very last days. You and my sister served as a never failing constant. Thank you for looking over all of us and my mom, you did a great job after my dad passed. Your presence at family events will forever be missed and they will never be the same without you.
You’ll be forever in all of our hearts.
