Juanita Iglesias

Juanita and her husband the late †Jorge were the owners of La Guadalupana Discoteca located at 2829 West Cermak Road, Chicago, Illinois. Juanita and her husband were founding members of the Mexican Communites (Colonias Mexicanas) with being the first record store to cater and sell to the Mexican Spanish speaking people during the late 60's 70's, 80's and 90's it was well over 30 +years. Many famous singers and artisits visted their store, Leo Dan was one of them and she loved Cuban music.

Juanita was the cherished mother of Rebeca Murillo, Jose Murillo, and the late †Claudio Murillo. Dearest grandmother of Anibal Murillo, Adrian Murillo, Melissa Murillo, Leonardo Murillo, Rebecca Murillo and Esteban Murillo. Great grandmother to Sapphare Murillo, Sierra Murillo, Savanna Murillo and Viktoria Murillo. She was preceded in death by her loving husband †Jorge an her beloved son †Claudio Murillo.

She will be remembered for her kind and giving heart. She helped those in need and gave so willingly. She will be remembered for her love of music and bringing the music to the Mexican community.
