Julia Ann Hamby nee Gotter, age 75, was born in Chicago on March 17, 1946, and passed on September 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Julia was the most loving mother of Michael Hamby, Kimberly (Ricardo) Zuniga, Kerry (Dustin) Slayton, and Danielle Hamby; adoring grandmother of Taylor and Summer Slayton, Melanie and Noah Zuniga.
Dear daughter of the late Michael & Margaret Gotter; beloved sister to Arvid Lerch, Louis Jean Sharp, Douglas Lerch, late Michael Gotter (Shelby), Reinette Schmidt nee Gotter, late Linda Gotter, Laura Gray (Albert), late Jeffery Gotter, and Cecelia Rampi; caring cousin; unforgettable aunt; and fond friend of many.
Visitation will take place at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home on September 23, 2021 between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. We regret to inform you, there is no outside food allowed in the funeral home.
