I never knew Kara, I am a stranger. I was there the early morning of May 1st and I saw her in the last moments leaving, that night strongly impacted me and the choices I’ve made since then, and I think of this young woman often. I am thinking about her today. I never knew her but I will always remember her. I am so sorry and my heart still breaks for the family. 

When I found out kara died my heart almost stopped.Kara was the nicest girl I ever met.

Sweet little kara, we still can't believe your gone. We will never forget all the silly times we had together. It was an honor to be your aunt, babysitter, stylist, dance Teacher, and family member. I've never seen such personality and beauty all packaged into one little girl. It's amazing to see all the lives you've touched and people you've affected. I wish we could have been there for you more but you were a growing young lady with a life of your own. I'm sad you won't get to meet my new baby or play with alex again but I know your watching over everyone with a big smile. Love you always kawa kawa. We will think of you every day....

My gorgeous Princess, this has to be the hardest thing to do in my life. I wish this was a dream but it isn't. Where do I even star? Kara you are still the most beautiful girl in the whole world. I remember when my family found out you and Billy were dating, they all said "Billy she is beautiful, you landed a great one." You became so close to our family and to me you were like a younger sister I never had. We didn't go out but when we hung out at my house, you made those days the best ever. I remember the day we went to our grandma's house for the block party and we had to do an egg toss and you were so excited because you pretended to be a mommy penguin to the egg. You also went swimming with Billy and Robert and you pretended to be a dolphin and had me tell you tricks to do and you did them and I would reward you with candy. You were the best dolphin ever!! We also got matching Ty-dye glow wands and you were so happy that we got them. You made that day amazing, not just for me but for our whole family. I saw you at jewel a lot too. i would go in and look for you down the isles. I still do now, just out of habit. I went in the baking isle and saw you and asked if you were coming and of course you were and you asked me if we could bake cupcakes together and you picked our red velvet and we baked those together with Billy and it was so fun to do. You made everything you did fun and you were always laughing. I'm going to miss you forever and no one can ever take your place in my heart. I hope you watch over us all and you haunt us as much as possible. I hope I can make you proud and I can't wait to see you up there my beautiful Angel. You are forever the most beautiful, kind hearted, funny girl we will all cherish and remember. I love you my sweet Kara past the starrs.
To the Starr Family: thank you for bringing the most loving girl into this world. I can't express how sorry I am to you for your loss. There are no words. To Nick, I'm so sorry you lost Kara. I know she loved you more than words can describe. You gained such an amazing guardian angel and you are lucky to have her as a sister and an angel. She is proud of you no matter what.
