Most of my earliest memories include Aunt Kathy and the Just family and the building on Rogers. The sausage-making and pigs head! Oh my gosh. The Justs were a party family-- always a little outrageous and fun. There was one Christmas in Ridge Village, I think Heidi was pregnant with Lori, and the Justs came over after dinner and we were all packed into Omi and Opa's tiny apartment. It was hot in there and we had to climb over each other to move around, but it was so fun. And of course the house in Bristol, and Lake Shangri-La on weekends and other summer days. That little house and garage fit all of us. I don't know how we did it. We slept on every flat surface. Aunt Kathy fed us all. I was never hungry. I always had a good time. And when I think of my Omi and Opa, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steve are always there with them. I am a better person for having Aunt Kathy in my life. I love her. Thank you Tante Kathy, for being wonderful.

Tante,
Memories. I have so many of them. We were blessed to come from a close knit family. World War II made our families see how precious our families were. Summers, holidays, Birthdays, slaughtering making sausage was a reason to celebrate. Celebrate the good times. I always looked forward to Thanksgiving because you always made the BlackBerry Jello with the secret ingredient (Mogan David Wine). I think all us kids ate more than the adults !! Summer vacation up on the Northside going to Hollywood Beach or going up to the cottage in Wisconsin was always something we looked forward to. You and Uncle Steve were always so playful with each other. I could see the love you both shared. You had the greatest laugh and always appreciated a good joke. (Like your brother)
I’m a lucky girl who has been blessed with the most wonderful relatives. We love you Aunt Kathy and we will miss your loving presence....till we are all together again ❤️.
With much love Betty, Tom, Jason, Julie, Josh, Shannon, Zachery, Analise, Maggie, Sam, Calliana, Caleb, Cayden, Cayson, Catarina, Camia, and Caya.
