Katherine "Kitty" Sivak, age 63, of Chicago Ridge, formerly Mount Greenwood, Chicago., entered Heaven on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Kitty was born February 17, 1959. Cherished and Devoted Mother of Eric Sivak and the late infant son Mark Sivak; Beloved Daughter of the Late Margaret (Nee Hayes) and Edward Cowhey; Loving sister of Anne (Paul) Sobocinski, Pam (Jim) Skanberg Carroll, Nancy (Bill) Fife, Jimmy (Ray Willis) Cowhey, Terese (Bob) Sullivan, and Lorie (Matt) Rychel; Beloved Aunt of 12 nieces and nephews, Great Aunt of 19 nieces and nephews; Grand Daughter of the late Katherine (Kit) and William Hayes; Fun Loving Niece of many Aunts and Uncles; Cousin to many.
Katherine was a long time employee of Paxton Patterson.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Katherine's name to The American Cancer Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
A visitation for Kitty will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60655. Chapel Prayers beginning at 11:15am leading into procession for a Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 12:30pm at Queen of Martyrs Church, 10233 Central Park Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
