I heard of your passing recently. I'm sorry I wasn't able to meet up with you again beforehand. 
I wanted to thank you... Thank you for helping my family, for the advice for the constant encouragement, all the prayers! allowing us to sit with you for hours at a time. You are most certainly missed. But above all else; and most importantly, THANK YOU for teaching my girls at your school. They may not understand now but they will...

The day I met Mother in 2008, she changed my life forever. I asked if she would teach me the Catechism all over again, and she made the word become flesh to me, and through her the Holy Catholic faith became an active and dynamic way of life. 
Never in the years of suffering I witnessed, did she despair, indeed she grew in faith, and caused us to grow us to grow with her.
Never can I be thankful enough to our Lord for the wonderful grace he has given me and my family in my dearest friend Mother Peter.

Dear Duffy Family,
I am so sad to hear of the passing of Mother Peter, my dear friend of 24 years.  I did not know of her death until yesterday (Oct. 20).  If I had known, I would have certainly attended her funeral.  Please be assured of my prayers for her and all of you!  She and I had many years of sharing and she was so influential in my life.  I first met her in 1991 in McCook,Ne and we quickly developed a close friendship. We spent countless hours in conversation over the years. She was a wonderful spiritual director to me.  After she and the sisters left Nebraska, I  visited her several times in Chicago and Las Vegas.  She helped me through the loss of my dear little sister and another mutual friend, Pat Macke.  Pat and I took trips/pilgrimages together with Mother and the sisters, all the while sharing spiritual moments, laughter, and good times!  I miss her already but will always cherish our times together and her loving guidance.  I feel like I know many of you personally, as she spoke so fondly of each and every one of her siblings and her dear Uncle John!  I did meet and come to know your dear mother and met many of you at her funeral years ago.  She, too, was a wonderful person!  I know that Mother missed her parents so much and now she is re-united with them. Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.

My prayers and condolences go out to all of Mother Peter's family and sisters. I am honored and blessed to have Mother Peter as my Godmother. She was a friend and spiritual mother to my own mother throughout her life and I owe much of my own faith to her prayers for me. May God bless her and welcome her into His Kingdom.

I knew her as Sister Peter, in Monongah, WV during my year as a volunteer teacher.  She was an extraordinary woman and a remarkable daughter of the Church, and a deeply loving human being.  Blessings.

On this the Feast of St Pio I pray your family and the Sisters of OLIG find peace in knowing Gods Divine Will is always perfect. We had the privilege of having Mother in our life and her Sisters here in Louisiana! It was one of  Her homes away from 
home. I am thankful to God often for her and all the Sisrers of OLOG and the love they all brought here. Morher was a spiritual Mother and friend to me also and many blessings including adopting my boys came through her intercession with Padre' Pio! Know that you all are in prayers! Mother Peter was a dear friend of mine going back to the late '70's. She guided and prayed me through many a crisis.  My husband of 31 years still jokes about the fact that he had to ask not only my parents for my hand in marriage, but Mother Peter, too. Mother is the Godmother of our third son, Peter.  The family has beautiful memories of time spent with her throughout the years.  I treasure the gift of her presence in my life.  God has touched many through her.
