Kathy was the most loving wife of Frank Garcia; dear daughter of the late Anna & Henryk Sobkowicz; loving sister of Krzysztof (Miroslawa) Sobkowicz, Marek (Alina) Sobkowicz, Urszula (Jan) Wrona.

Kathy leaves behind a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, their descendents and many friends.

Beloved and deeply cherished, Kathy carried a kind-hearted presence that made space for others simply by being herself. There was a gentleness in the way she moved through the world, a quiet grace that did not need attention to be felt—only to be remembered.

A resident of Streamwood, Illinois, Kathy will be remembered with enduring love by those who knew her and with lasting tenderness by those who held her closest.
