Ken was an absolutely great human being. He was one of the most positive people I have ever met and I will always remember his great sense of humor, his Elvis impression of I’ll Have A Blue Christmas. But most of all his incredible smile and love of life and all he knew. Rest In Peace my dear friend! You deserve it. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

 When  someone passes away   I  always  think of the  good times.  As soon  as  I  heard about  the passing of my  friend  Jerry  I   began thinking  about  the  great memories   and there  were  THOUSANDS.  Jerry  was the type  that you  could sit on the sofa  with and talk/laugh  for hours. What a  great guy  that   was always  there  if you needed him. After he moved from  Lexington   I    didn't see him  near as  much   but when  I    did  he  had not  changed  at all... I  know  all of his friends  he has left  behind  have wonderful memories and break out in laughter  when they think of all the  fun times we all shared.   I  will miss  him  very  much and will cherish his true friendship.

When I think of Jerry, I always think of instant iced tea.  Large quantities. Lemon flavored.

Many years ago we used to have long talks.  We both had passion for crystal and cologne and sometimes we even discussed how jaded people had become and the decline of modern civilization.

Once we were on Nicholasville Road.  The old two(?) lane version.  We were trying to get across the road....traffic, as always, was very busy.  He was looking left and I was looking right.  Eventually we both said "Clear" and he hit the accelerator.  Neither of had thought to look forward until we bounced over the median.  In a fit of laughter, we headed home.

We lost touch over the years.  But, in my memory, he will always be there.

Jerry was one of my favorite people and one of my dearest friends and I will miss the weekly chats on the phone about politics, television shows (Jon Stewart's Daily Show!), movies, old times in Lexington, trips to Europe--we went on 6 together and they were great fun-what he and Charlie were doing in Chicago etc.  Life will 
be a lot less interesting and amusing without him.  With deepest sympathy and much love to 
Charlie.

Hard to believe that my old friend is gone. We shared many laughs over the years. I will miss his quick wit and amazing insight into the human condition. Never mean spirited, he was kind, compassionate, generous and fun. I am better for having known him. I'm truly sorry he's gone so soon.

Jerry passed quietly in his sleep due to his heart problems. He seemed very much at peace when I found him, eyes closed, one arm casually resting on a pillow, with the TV tuned in to MSNBC. 
I knew Jerry since our days in Kentucky close to forty years. I miss him terribly.
