Kenny was one of a kind person,  he would go out of his way to help you, Kenny you will be miss dearly I will aways remember you when going to the flea market my friend , thank you for the great years of friendship.

We have all lost a truly good friend and dedicated fellow employee way too soon. He will be missed by many in a lot of ways. I worked with Ken a lot over the years. He would not refuse to help anyone and never failed to come though. Anyone who worked with him will understand the cartoon because it epitomizes Ken to a T. If you couldn't find a maintenance reference or a part number, Ken was your guy. If it wasn't in his shirt pocket stuffed to the point of ripping open he had it somewhere in his "filing system" and he was going to find it.  Rest well Ken. 

I will miss you Kenny. He was a good friend and great man to work with for 30 plus years. You always had a joke or a bright smile to make the day go better. The world lost a bright light and I will miss being around you. Rest easy my friend.  Don Bedwell 

I worked with Ken for a few years. He taught me a lot about work and efficiency but the best knowledge was about life and how to live. He seemed to float though life like an amazing adventure. Not trying to let any one particular bad experience to ruin your day. The story’s we shared about family life made me want to strive be a great father and husband like he was. He as patient man and was always willing to lend a helping hand and a few words of encouragement. My heart goes out to his family for their loss. 

I worked with Ken for several years, I truly  appreciated his work and friendship and loved  the time we had together at work. My sincere deepest sympathies to his family and friends. 

My sincere condolences to the Wente family. Ken and I hired on together at UAL back in 1986. We shared the same love of being a Chicago Cubs fan and our field of dreams called Wrigley Field. He was a dear friend as well as a valued colleague, known for his strong work ethic. I will also miss his laughter and warm smile and friendly greeting. God speed my brother, you now have the best seats in the house.
