Kim Tran Nguyen

Kim Nguyen passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on December 2, 1952, and lived a life defined by duty to her family and showing affection by making fun of those she loved (a trait her children inherited). Kim was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Tri Nguyen, who preceded her in death in 2023. Although she will never tell them (for fear of their heads getting too big), her proudest accomplishments were her three children: Linda Nguyen, Vu Nguyen, and Lisa Nguyen. While Kim passed before getting a chance to watch her grandchildren grow up, they remain an enduring part of her legacy, carried forward through the family she cherished so deeply.

A religious ceremony will be held at Drake & Son Funeral Home, located at 5303 North Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, on December 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

Visitation will follow at the same location on December 23, 2025, from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm.
