Dear Laura,

You will be missed here at OLHMS. I always liked talking to you in the teachers lounge and in various classrooms. Enjoy Heaven.

I had the pleasure of working with Laura in District 123. I was the Sub Coordinator for awhile as well as the Secretary at Hometown School. It was always wonderful to have Laura sub. She was so caring and loved her job no matter what grade she was in. She is and will definitely be very missed around here.
My condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Laura's passing. I always enjoyed working with her and talking with her while she was a substitute teacher at OLHMS. She was a lovely person.

Laura will be remembered as a wonderful teacher, an avid writer, an activist, and an enthusiastic traveler. But most of all, I will remember her as my dear friend.

She loved and cared for her family dearly as well as the students she worked with. Laura endured much in life but was still able to inspire others.

I'm so glad that she is free of suffering and is resting in peace.
Love,
Elaine Barlos
