Lawrence Daniel O'Connell

for the City of Chicago. He served the public for 20+ years and was proud to do so.

Danny is survived by two sisters Betty June Filmanowicz (Phillip) and Theresa Foote (Guy), his 4 children; Kenneth, Terri (Albert Collins), Amber O’Connell - Roman (Harold) and Hannah Dunn

(Carl), 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ambrose Lawrence O’Connell and Margaret ‘Ida’ Jaeger as well as 2 sisters and four brothers.

Danny loved to fish, garden, cook, and travel (especially in the RV). After retirement he opened Grand Avenue Shrimp House which he proudly ran until Covid. Once the world opened back

up, he sold the restaurant.
