Lenny C Stines

On Wednesday March 9, 2022 Lenny Stines, 63, passed away. A lifelong Chicagoan, passed at home from a heart attack. Born July 12, 1958 to Leona and L.C Stines, He was survived by his life long love, soulmate Ivy Stines who were married on January 27, 1975. He was survived by his two children Larry Stines and Jennifer Burkhardt. As a career he worked his way up through every level of the electrical industry and then worked for several years as the estimator for the North Avenue Menards before he retired. His interests included being a life long, die hard Cubbie fan. In the early 90s, his love for baseball ran so deep he coached a youth little league team that made it to the Little League World Series. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by his beloved grandchildren Logan C. Wilde, Lucas C. Burkhardt, and Sam M Burkhardt. He was survived by two brothers John Stines and Larry Walls, and his sister in law Amy Clark. Survived by several nieces and nephews, Chandra Weathersby, Michael Weathersby, Elizabeth Cawthon, Josh Clark, Autumn Clark, Alissa Lindstrom, Adrianna Lindstrom, Gemini Marquez, Cassidy Lindstrom, Douglas Villareal, LeAnn Weathersby, Sophie Clark and Kensley Clark. Lenny was preceded in death by his parents,son Jim Parks, Sister Brenda Stines, and nephew Thomas Weathersby.

A visitation for Lenny will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Ave, Chicago, Illinois, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
