DAD! It's me! I love you and I miss coming home from school and seeing you with mom and Isaiah.....but I always feel your presence....even though you sometimes disagreed on how I handle certain things you always had my back 👊🏼 and gave me good advice...I'll always defend you father, you know this! Thank you for being a good father to my son ,raising him and teaching him how to pray. I know you saw how impressed the Deacon was with Izzy! Please help me raise my son from above. I'm proud of
you ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️..til infinity

Back when we were in the hospital I didn't hear complain from him. He is very humble and generous. I will never forget him. I love you very much. You will be missed.

Leopoldo Dalida Ambubuyog was born on July 18, 1938 at Pandan Antique, Philippines. He was the eldest sibling of Rufino Ambubuyog and Adoracion Ambubuyog. Leopoldo married Evelyn Ambubuyog of Ligao, Albay on December 18, 1971. Leopoldo was raised by his grandmother Elisea Ambubuyog who became a great influence in his religious faith. Leopoldo was a hard working father. He raised three children, Ana Rochelle Ambubuyog (married to Ramon Guiang), Paul John Ambubuyog (married to Bernadette Benesa), and Irene Liezel Ambubuyog.
Leopoldo’s proudest accomplishment was when he received his Bachelor Degree of Law at University of Santo Tomas on October 27, 1962. At the age of 29, Leopoldo was awarded Attorney and Counselor at Law on March 20, 1967. Leopoldo worked as a corporate lawyer in Philippine patent office for many years. Further accomplishment includes membership of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and UST Law Alumni. Leopoldo decided to leave the Philippines in 1985 and worked for many years in Chicago. He finally retired at 60 years old.
Leopoldo felt a strong connection with God. His life was centered around his catholic faith. He became a devoted member of the St Hilary prayer group. The group meets everyday after the morning mass. Leopoldo adored his prayer group and it was an important part of his life. Leopoldo also enjoyed participating in various religious activities at St Hilary church.
Leopoldo was a very loving husband and a kind father. We will miss his delightful candor and friendly personality. He will be remembered by the wonderful times we all shared with him.
Leopoldo will also be miss by his grandchildren, Joshua Guiang, Jericho Guiang, Jonathan Guiang, Leon Ambubuyog, Marcus Ambubuyog, Amor Ambubuyog and Isiah Parks.
Rest in Peace Leopoldo, you will be remembered in our hearts and in our mind.
