I’m truly grateful that I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I’ll always remember her smile whenever she saw me. She was definitely a people person, always showing love, making everyone feel welcomed, and of course, always offering me something to eat.

I regret not being able to make it to her 90th birthday celebration, but I’m thankful I was able to see her in New York for Myrna and Marquita’s 40th birthday. Seeing her today, she looked so peaceful and beautiful. The visitation/wake was absolutely beautiful as well. Everyone who spoke shared such heartfelt and beautiful words and memories that I found myself crying right along with you all. Thank you for sharing those special moments and for making a way through Zoom for those who couldn’t physically be there to still be a part of such a meaningful celebration of her life.

Carole and family, job well done. The obituary was beautiful, and I truly enjoyed looking through all the photos. They showed just how deeply she was loved and, even more importantly, how much she loved her family.

I’m forever grateful for my best friend Myrna and for all the special moments I’ve been blessed to share with her Grandma and the family. Grandma was truly loved by so many and will forever be missed. May she rest peacefully in paradise until we meet again. 🕊️🤍🙏🏾
