Marc and I were both Betas at USD in the early 90’s. He was a great brother and better friend. Whenever you needed a good laugh or just someone to talk to Marc always made himself available. We are far too young to be writing memorials for our contemporaries. Marc will be missed dearly by all that got a chance to spend some time with him. Cheers my old friend.

I met Mark back in the 90’s in Miami through mutual friends in the nightclub circuit. We continued being friends for many years after that. When we would travel to Chicago we would always stay with him a couple of days just to catch up and KiKi together. Life eventually took us in different directions. Recently we started speaking again and was very happy to reconnect with him as he was one of the kindest people I’ve met. Just recently I lost one of my dogs and we would talk about how much we loved our dogs as both just passed days apart. He would then check in with me daily to see how I was doing. Sadly this Sunday was our last conversation and your final check in with me. It breaks my heart to know you were in so much pain and I didn’t see it. I hope your looking down and seeing what an impact you had on people and that you meant more to them than you could ever know. The void you left is big but we will fill it with the beautiful memories you left behind. Fly high brother and keep an eye out for me!

I too, worked with Mark years ago then we lost touch for more years. When I finally found him last year on Facebook, I reminded him (through FB messages) how brilliant I thought he was, and so much smarter than the rest of us, but he told me he had me fooled then. He was being too humble - he was brilliant and I don’t just mean smart. A sharp wit and kindness to boot. I had been trying to get him to call me - I wish he had. Fly well my friend. ❤️

Marc will be so missed. We worked together for years and he was the highlight of every meeting we had. We laughed for hours and shared stories without judgement. I hope he is at peace and knows how much he meant to all of us. RIP Chicago boyfriend 😘
