DeCastro, Maria Salud J. Age 92. Beloved wife and friend of 42 years to Jose DeCastro. Maria was preceeded in death by many brothers and sisters. Maria was originally from the Philippines where she practiced Dentistry before relocating to Chicago where she worked at Columbus Hospital. She is survived by many cherished nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Transfiguration Catholic Church, with internment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 10th from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home. 773-561-6874.
