Maria Hilda Villa

Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, Maria Hilda Villa (née Ocon) of Chicago, took her last breath on July 27, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Eligio and the late Alejandra (Rodriguez) Ocon, Maria was born in San Carlos, Durango, Mexico on November 20, 1938. In 1950 Hilda married Jesus Manuel Villa, also from San Carlos, and went on to have 73 marvelous years of marriage.

Hilda’s pride and joy was always her family and her home. Anyone that knew her, was considered family and they knew they were always welcome to share a delicious meal at her longtime house on Wellington Avenue. If you had the honor of knowing her, you knew she was selfless, humble, generous and most of all, loving. Her absence leaves a void in those whom she leaves behind, she will be truly missed.

Hilda is survived by her loving husband, Jesus Manuel; her children Maria Graciela (Francisco) Sanchez, Maria Bernardina (Jose Guadalupe (deceased)) Valles, Vicente (Silvia) Villa, Jose Guadalupe (Maria Concepcion) Villa, Avelina (Jose Luis) Aguila, Irma Bahena, Elva (Isidro) Nevarez, and Jose Ramon (Norma) Villa; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Gloria Villa and her brother Magdaleno Perez.

A visitation for Maria Hilda Villa will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 4:00-8:00pm at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her mother in Durango, Mexico.

Amada esposa, madre, hermana, abuelita y bis abuelita, María Hilda Villa (née Ocon) de Chicago, tomo su último suspiro el jueves, 27 de julio de 2023, a la edad de 84 años, rodeada de sus amados hijos y nietos.

Hija de los difuntos Eligio y Alejandra (Rodríguez) Ocón, María nació en San Carlos, Durango, México el 20 de noviembre de 1938. En 1950 Hilda se casó con Jesús Manuel Villa, también de San Carlos, y llegaron a tener 73 maravillosos años de matrimonio.

El orgullo de Hilda siempre fue su familia y su hogar. Cualquier que la conoció, era considerado de la familia y sabía que siempre era bienvenido a compartir una deliciosa comida en su casa. Si tenían el honor de conocerla, sabían que era amorosa y tenía un buen sentido de humor. Su ausencia deja un vacío en aquellos a quienes deja atrás, la extrañaremos mucho.

Hilda es sobrevivida por su amado esposo, Jesus Manuel; sus hijos Maria Graciela (Francisco) Sanchez, Maria Bernardina (Jose Guadalupe (fallecido)) Valles, Vicente (Silvia) Villa, Jose Guadalupe (Maria Concepcion) Villa, Avelina (Jose Luis) Aguila, Irma Bahena, Elva (Isidro) Nevarez, y Jose Ramon (Norma) Villa; sus nietos, bisnietos, y mucha familia extendida y amigos.

A Hilda ya se le había fallecido su hija, Gloria Villa y su hermano, Magdaleno Perez.

La visita para María Hilda Villa se llevará a cabo el viernes, 4 de agosto 2023, de 4:00-8:00 pm en Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home. Será sepultada junto a su madre en Durango, México.
