My father Mariano colosi was a man born to immigrant parents....he was a man that gave himself to the untied states army at the age of 16, there was no man that was more proud of his country and being a soldier for it. He Fought in the front lines of the Korean War ..... he married Mary and had 2 children who he raised with very catholic values and worked hard for the family he loved so dearly .... he was a man that came home every night to have dinner with his family, always calling me “ the apple of his eye”. A man that always said “ those who prayed together stayed together “. We went to St. John brebeuf for over 40 years As parishioners and as he became elderly and could no longer drive, he walked to church every weekend because 1 hour every Sunday was Time to be in Gods home. He always said when he died he wanted to be a soldier in Gods army. Love you dad, thank you for being such an amazing father to me growing up, you will be missed.
