Dear Grammy,

It has almost been 7 years since the last time we were able to talk face to face. These last 7 years have been rough from not being able to see you, not having much of a mother figure around to trying to be strong and set a path for my younger siblings to follow. I’m in college now, crazy how time flies. I just wish we had more time with you. Everyone tells me how proud they are of my but I just can’t be proud of myself. At least I’m one of the first in our family to make it to college and have a chance to life a better life for myself. There has just been so much that has happened I don’t em know what to say. But I do think about you almost everyday. I have your dog chain hanging on my car mirror to know you’re looking over me. Since I have my own car now so I promise I’ll visit you when I’m back home from college in about a month. I promise to never forget you.

Grandma, i first want to say HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! Everyday i wake up im thinking of you i miss u soo..much i feel like I've been dreaming since u went in the hospital , i can't believe this is even real but it is and im still dealing with It everyday. DEAR MUMSY-poo since I was the oldest daughter I was more like a sister,you taught me to jitterbug & I taught you to hustle & disco,we would always worry over our babies (your daughters,my sisters) & bills. I hear a oldies or dusties specials coming on & I feel I have to  all you so we can watch them together & reminiscene with you I miss you so much,Noone else remembers our stuff,or get the personal jokes,& YOUR WITTY HUMOR OR REMEMBERS ALL THE THINGS YOU & SHIRLEY PRANGER& I WERE ALL IN ON!!!!! Its been some time since I last spoke to you. I hear you everyday. I see you in my sleep. You make the sun shine so bright. I took for granted the shine you brought to my life; one of the only people who didnt judge any of us no matter what we did. You taught us to make a commitment to family. To honor you I keep the wrapper to the pizza I bought from John's next to my license and diploma. I'm coming to visit you again. This will be the relationship I have that I will not forget. I love you to the bone. I love you deep. My mind still doesnt function right but its a process. I just need one of your bear hugs. Im sorry for all the time I missed out on spending with you. I took you for granted. When I visit you on Monday, Ill sit on the grass and talk with you. I have plenty to tell you. You understood the misunderstood. You understood me.  We'll smile laugh and cry together.

Grandma today makes two months that i haven't been able to kiss u hug u or hear ur voice  and it hurts soo bad my heart is truly broken but i know u want me to be strong and take care of ur babys and me so i will i love u soo much and i think  about u everyday remembering  all the love u gave to me and my kids love u for ever grandma Marilyn S Neumann love ur grandaughter Thelma S Neumann

Oh grandma not a day goes by that I dont think about you. It hurts to think that I'll never get to see those beautiful green eyes again. I just want to be able to tell you one more time how much love and appreciated having you in my life. No time spent with you was wasted. You were an amazing woman and anybody would be lucky to have you in there life. Grandma I promise i won't forget u (even though that's impossible) and i won't let your babies forget you either I'll remind them of the memories we had with you and how much you did for us.
