Marilyn Richards more commonly known as MaHoney passed away at the age of 90 on November 11, 2020. She was a lover of both cats and dogs and most recently a dog mother to Charlie, a rescue dog that kept her company watching Days of our Lives and Gilmore Girls. MaHoney enjoyed spending time with her family and luckily was able to live next door to some of the closest family members. There wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t see or hear from someone that loved and cared for her. Everyone was welcome to have lunch with her and Charlie. She was a caring, giving and thoughtful woman with a great sense of humor. While her last year was spent in a nursing home and as her memory faded away, she never lost sight of the love we had for her and the love she had for us. With the times of Covid, there were many more restrictions in place which limited time with Mahoney. However, she was always in good spirits and excited for the times we had together. On her 90th birthday in August, she was able to meet her great grandson which was one of the things she never forgot she wanted to experience. She will always be remembered as our MaHoney and we will cherish the many years we were lucky to have with her.

My heart goes out to you and your family, with the loss of your mom. You are such a strong woman , and always gave your mom the best of care throughout her life. She was so very lucky to have you for a daughter! Thinking of you my friend at this most difficult time, and keeping your family in our prayers.
