Marisol (Pollito) was a free spirit, some would say to a fault. Fearless, strong-willed, kind & generous. Marisol could not bear children of her own but always had her “fur babies.” Much like her Mother, they overcame many adversities. She was well known for her cooking and her love of people. She loved music and dancing. Until the very end, she was always up for a good time, no matter what. Marisol was from a large family. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Jose G. Baez and Irma Baez and her eldest sibling, the late Nilsa Baez. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Magdalena Baez, Teresa Vanwagoner, Sonya McCarthy, Jose M. Baez, Martha Baez, Margaret Velez & Jaime Baez.
We love you Marisol. May you rest in peace. This is not a goodbye, just a ciao until we’re together again.
A celebration of Marisol’s life will be held in Moca, Puerto Rico on April 3, 2026.
