

Mary was the beloved wife of 30 years to the late James A. Quinn. She was the loving mother of Courtney Beemsterboer, Ashley (Erick) Ark, and the late Christopher A. Quinn; and cherished grandmother of Alex and Colin.
Mary will also be deeply missed by her siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends who were blessed to know her.
Mary proudly dedicated 30 years of her life to teaching in the Chicago Public Schools. She truly loved teaching and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of her students. Her passion for education was an important part of who she was.
Outside of the classroom, Mary enjoyed quilting and gardening and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was funny, outgoing, warm, and always enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. Some of her happiest memories were made on family vacations and in the years she spent raising her family.
Mary especially cherished her grandchildren, Alex and Colin. She was very involved in their lives and took great joy in watching them grow. The love, guidance, and memories she gave them will remain with them always. She made a lasting and profound impact on their lives.
Mary will be remembered for her generous heart, her laughter, her dedication to her family and students, and the many special memories she created with those she loved. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love that will live on through her family.
Visitation: Friday, September 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL. Funeral Service: Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with a chapel service at McGann Funeral Home.
Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Illinois.
