I did not know until now I am heartbroken you knew me when I was 3 and Judy was 2 or I was 4 and Judy was3 never could remember you we're my second mom you were the mom that showed me what normal was how families should be you we're my calmness in a storm you took me away from chaos you and Ove should kindness and love wich I needed at that time in my life those years were the most important to me then any other time in my life I shall never forget what you did for me part of me wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for you ...I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you but the death of my son overwhelmed me so ..I know your at peace and God had a special place for Love You Your second daughter Reggie

She was my second mom for about 45 years and I will miss her dearly. I am so happy she is at peace and back in Ove's arms. I love you and will never forget you!

My Mom, Mary Westerberg 

Mom was determined to maintain her independence and resided on her own until age 91.  She was blessed with the support of her caring and astute Dr. Tod Grendon, nurturing friends/caretakers Nelson, Fran, Karla. She was so happy w/Dee, Diane, and Gabe zipping into town.
I am forever grateful to all of the loving friends who always remain at my side.

Mary was not only the best mother; she was my best friend. We shared everything in our lives together; she was a true sport and enjoyed/endured my adventures. She, even, amazingly, tried to overcome her fear of horses by coming to the stable with me. Mom's magic to find humor in all situations was contagious and became a foundation for everyday life. She instilled the value of friendship, and the joy of sharing loyal friends for "There is enough love to go around!".  Mary had many friends as proof of her giving, happy, and loyal nature. Her laugh was a treat for the soul.   

Mary's dear husband/my beloved father, Ove, passed away in 1987; remaining daily in our hearts and remembrances.  Mom continued to live and explore the city with her pal, Lill, going to art shows, concerts, plays, dancing in the park, zoo, air shows, tea at the Ritz, often captured on TV in front row seats. My friends held seats for her at the Art Fair festivities. Mom also loved an evening hearing her favorite singers and pianists, joining in with the singing of show tunes.

Great lady.....that Mary Westerberg!
