Mike passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2020. We remember him as a highly independent individual with a huge heart who always cared for his family with an intense sense of responsibility. He was always willing to put the needs of those close to him above his own. Among his many skills, he was mechanically inclined and good with his hands. He possessed the uncanny ability to fix or assemble just about anything; a skillset he often used to aid others.
Mike is survived by his father Don, sons Craig and Jay, sisters Esther, Pat and Diane, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Condolences may be sent to Malec and Sons Funeral Home in Chicago.
