Born on December 28, 1965, Michael lived a life full of passion, love, and laughter. An entrepreneur by trade, he worked hard to build his own path and took pride in everything he did. His determination and strong spirit were evident to all who knew him.
Michael had a deep love for life’s simple joys. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, attending car shows, and had a true appreciation for cars. He loved dancing and a good night out, but he was just as happy swimming in the ocean or relaxing on the beach. Some of his favorite moments were spent with family and friends, especially hanging out together in Humboldt Park.
Above all, Michael will be remembered as a loving son, a devoted father, and a proud grandfather. His family meant everything to him. He was loud in the best way full of energy, generosity, and fun and his presence lit up every room.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, Michael Lopez Jr.; his daughters, Krystal Lopez and Mikayla Lopez; and his granddaughter, Alayah Lopez. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Lou Lopez; his sister, Tanya Cardona; his brother-in-law, Willie Cardona, mother of his children Miriam Cordero; and many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Maximino Lopez.
