Mike and I became CPD partners in 1980.He and Rich
Sullivan shanghaied me as their partner on 1771.They were both able teachers and gave me lessons on how to have fun while working the wagon.Mike and I became real estate partners as well.I’m sure he would tell you he did most of the work and he would be right. He was as good of a friend and partner a man could ask for.I will miss him.

Diane and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t believe Mike has passed. It seems like yesterday when as kids, we use to watch Mike come and pick you up Diane for dates at your childhood home on Odell. We thought it was the coolest thing. He was a great guy back then and remained the same throughout his life. You are in my thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy.

Diane and family. What a lifetime ago we were young and going here and there. Mike was always so kind and thoughtful . It was a sweet time of youth and joy. What a lovely life you made together that you can cherish and will bring you joy when these rough days are behind you. You have always had a tender place in my heart even after all these years.
Prayers and thoughts for you

Alan & I have so many wonderful memories of Mike. Alan & Mike met at the Chicago police academy back in 1972 and became instant friends. Through the many years that followed, Mike & Diane, Alan & myself did life together by: camping at Governor Dodge State Park, celebrated many holidays (especially the 4th of July - Mike & Alan would light off a bunch of fireworks in the street in front of our house and Halloween parties, Mike & Diane always had the best costumes), going out together, making homemade pizzas (we would pick all the fat out of the sausage so the pizza wouldn't be greasy), playing poker (Mike would always complain because he almost always lost), spending many Monday football nights at Howard Street (eating our $1 burgers & drinking our $3 beers & martinis) and of course raising our children together. When we moved into our house Mike helped us move and even helped Alan put in a new cement patio (he was the finisher). Mike was a jack of all trades but you wouldn't want to hire him to remodel your kitchen unless you wouldn't mind being without a kitchen sink and cabinets for a very long time. LOL But seriously, you could count on Mike to be there for anyone who needed help with any kind of project. We will truly miss him and his great sense of humor. He truly was a wonderful guy.
