Mieczyslaw Janicki, 96, of Tur, Poland passed away suddenly on April 2, 2022. He was a loving husband of 61 years to Alicia; beloved father of Theresa (Ron) Shulda , Bernice Clarke, Christine (Steve) Krautstrunk, and Anna (Rob) Lester; cherished grandfather of Steven (Kadi) Krautstrunk, Stefani (Ryan) Halsey, Amanda (Nigel) Brown, Nick (Rita) Shulda, Matthew (Morgan) Shulda, Devan (Reese) Layton, Paige Groves, Brett Groves, Lexi Clarke, and Tommy Clarke; treasured great-grandfather of Cora and Michael; beloved brother of Stanislawa (Stanislaw) Naumowicz, Stanislaw (Helena) Janicki, and Franciszek (Elenora) Janicki, Anna(Joseph) Bafia, Mircia (Jan) Onuchowska and Marian (Roma) Naumowcz. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He loved spending time outdoors; he will best remembered for spending time with his grandkids. Visitation will be Monday, April 11, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. Chapel service in the funeral home Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10am.
