Mildred Joy Kurpas

Mildred Joy Kurpas (nee Brink), age 95, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, at Generations Oakton Pavillion under the care of Advocate Hospice for a couple of month's. Where she resided for 7 years. She proceeds her husband Joseph Kurpas in death. She leaves behind her only Daughter Judith Ann (Plesko) Cheval and many Nieces and Nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She formerly lived on the Northwest side all of her life before going into the nursing home. She lived her life with the feeling, "Whatever comes in life take it, do not dwell on what could be, live with how it is."

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Mildred that will be held Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60646. A chapel service will occur Thursday, September 14th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home. Following an interment, at Fairview Memorial Park.
