Dear muriel and bob, you were my angels on earth... I was your first lvc gal... only we know the amount of love you bestowed upon us!!! Bob your endless travels to pick me up in your van on frigid winter Sundays... "in 2 shakes of a lambs tail". Your sweet smile when muriel touched your shoulder... I always told muriel one day I will find my prince just like bob!!! I did!!! Oh muriel...my grandma, my sister, my friend. You had a way of "adopting" children around the country and welcoming them into your life and home!!!! Thank you for your legacy of ministry....of wisdom and fun!!! You are now home with your jesus and your bob!!!! I love you!!!

We are heartbroken to read about Muriel's passing.  Our families have been such good friends since Muriel and Bob moved on to Kedvale Ave. There aren't any better friends and neighbors in the world.  There was no way to repay Muriel for all she did for our mother, Irma Paisley, in the years after our father died.  Whenever mom needed anything, Muriel was there like a guardian angel.  When mom had her stroke, it was Muriel who found her and called for help.  We could never repay Muriel for all her Christian care and love.  The Lord is getting a wonderful soul.  Please accept our deepest sympathy.  The world was a much better place with Muriel and Bob. Kedvale Ave. will never be the same.

We knew Muriel and Bob since the time our three sons and Doug were in scouting and Bob was one of the leaders.  We continued our friendship with Muriel, even after we moved to Florida and will miss her dearly. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to her children, Doug and Barbara, as well as her grandchildren.

Muriel was my dear, dear friend.  It didn't matter that, when we met, I was a 22-year old Lutheran Volunteer Corps volunteer at her church, and she was 75.  Something as trivial as an age gap made no difference with a kindred spirit like Muriel Fox.  We always had fun, whether we were laughing in the church office, eating the chicken tetrazini she made for everyone's birthday, going to see Moulin Rouge or Miss Saigon, grabbing pie at Baker's Square, or watching West Wing at her house. She got me a set of everyday china when I got my first apartment, because she said that your first apartment warrants new dishes. I still use those dishes and think of her every time. Her sense of compassion, joy, her amazing capacity for caring, her overwhelming love for those around her, and her wonderfully sassy spirit will never be forgotten. She loved her family so much, my heart goes out to them during this time...I wish that I could be there to express my condolences in person.  This lady will live in my heart as one of the best.

Mrs. Fox have know me since I was born and she was like my 2nd grandmother. She was always a kind gentle woman, but if she did mad, she meant business. She was at my Bridal Shower, Wedding, and my Grandfather's funeral last year and that was the last time I saw her.  She will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved her. I'm sorry for your loss.

What a legacy Muriel has left. She has touched many lives and hearts. Specifically those of the Boos family. 
Our many memories of Muriel and Bob will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
