

He was born on December 25, 1950 to Margaret Ann and Joseph Steven Wroblewski and was the youngest of 3 children. He grew up alongside his older siblings Judith Ellen Erikson and Joseph Steven Wroblewski.
Noel grew up on Racine St. and Milwaukee Ave and attended St. John Cantius grade school and Church. He came from a long line of St. John Cantius parishioners on both sides of his family. Noel graduated from Lane Tech with the class of 1967. He then went on to graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and later graduated with a law degree from DePaul University.
He served as legal counsel for Illinois Council of Police & Sheriffs (ICOPS) and also ran his own legal practice.
Noel was a long time powerlifter and Illinois record holder. He was also ranked #8 nationally and #11 in the world for lift totals in the 1970s. He could bench over 500 lbs and squat over 800 lbs in an era with no special suits or cheat equipment.
He is predeceased by his father Joseph Steven Wroblewski, his mother Margaret Ann Wroblewski, and his oldest sister Judith Ellen Erikson.
He is survived by his son Joseph Sean Wroblewski; his long time partner Eileen Marie Clarke; his brother Joseph Steven Wroblewski; his grandchildren Eileen, Josie and Bridey; daughter-in-law Megan; as well as his nieces Shayna Margo and Sarah Scharf.
A Memorial to celebrate Noel's life will take place Friday, July 10 between 4-8 pm at Drake & Son Funeral Home on 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, 60625, with a chapel service at 7:30 pm.
