Patrick Capotosto

Patrick was born on June 30, 1939 to Pasquale and Thomasine Capotosto. He was married to the love of his life, Frances, for over 60 years.

Patrick was the epitome of a family man - he took more pride in his family than anything else. He was a devoted Christian and pastor, and could always be found at Christian Congregation. If he wasn't at church or with his family, he was writing poetry, fishing, or watching the Cubs.

Patrick was enlisted in the Air Force, and was very proud of his time in the service. His patriotism never waivered.

Patrick was preceded in death by Pat and Thomasine Capotosto, and Josephine (Bob) Weikel. He is survived by his beloved wife Frances Capotosto; caring children Jeff Capotosto, Joseph (Annie) Capotosto, and Tricia (Milt) Wetherell; cherished grandchildren Ashley (Jeremy) Mintun, Michael (Jessica) Jenke, Chelsea Jenke, and Nicole (Casey) Pourchot; and treasured great-grandchildren Zooey, Emilia, Elijah, and Colter. He will be missed by many family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 West Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634, on August 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home at 12:30 pm. Burial to follow at at Mount Olive Cemetery, 3800 North Narragansett Ave, Chicago, IL 60634.
